Corn Cleaner for Wet Mill
This Gentle Roll is going to a Wet Corn Milling operation to be used to sift and scalp corn at 12,000 BPH prior to the milling process. This Gentle Roll is replacing an older Gentle Roll which has run approximately 450 Million Bushels of corn over its life. The Gentle Roll is built to withstand the harsh 24/7 operation and the elements
as it will be located outside on top of a silo. The first three sections of the cleaner remove any fines or undersized material, then the last two disharge the clean corn through 1/2" screens. All the oversized material disharges off the end of the drum into the overs hopper. We lined the fines hoppers with UHMW for flowability and wear, then lined the corn hoppers with ceramic tile for extra durability to wear. The galvanized finish ensures longevity especially in the elements. One of the many benefits to this machine is the fact that you can stand next to it while running 12,000 BPH and you hardly notice it is running.
